Legendary singer Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina were spotted arriving at LAX yesterday evening.
The mother and daughter duo, along with their family pooch were all smiles as the paparazzi took their pictures.
Currently, Whitney is working on her comeback album. The Akon produced track “Like I Never Left” made its way to the internet a few months ago. However there’s no word if the song will make the final album cut.
“She's sounding great," producer Sean Garrett, who has worked with Beyonce and Usher, said of Houston. "I met with Clive yesterday in New York. She's gonna hear the records that I did for her this week, and we'll be getting in the studio cutting them. The records that she has are great. She's sounding great. She's definitely gonna be back."
According to MTV, Akon talked about working with Houston back in 2007. "Her voice is strong enough to deliver any message she wants to sing to the world," he explained. "It's outta here."
Both Ne-Yo and John Legend said they’d be working with Houston. Legend said regardless if his songs make the final project, he’s still honored to have worked with Whitney.
The album is set for release sometime this year.
In related Houston news, the singer’s ex-husband Bobby Brown is reportedly expecting a child with his girlfriend Alicia Etheridge. Rumor has it, Etheridge is four months pregnant.
