BET Awards '12: A Loving Whitney Houston Tribute

長久以來，一直很愛戴我們家天后Whitney Houston的BET Awards，在今年的頒獎典禮中，安排了向惠妮致敬的橋段。

整段表演，請來天后Mariah Carey擔任引言人，暢談她和惠媽相識、相惜的過往，在緊接由Monica演唱"I Love the Lord"開場，再由Brandy重新詮釋惠媽經典"I'm Your Baby Tonight"+"I Wanna Dance With Somebody”來接棒演出，惠媽胞兄Gary Houston則在這段演出裡，獻唱惠妮的單曲"Where You Are"來緬懷妹妹，一直再典禮預告中強打也最催淚的一段，則是惠媽母親Cissy Houston以Simon & Garfunkel的經典名曲"Bridge Over Troubled Water"來緬懷愛女。

在Cissy Houston演唱完後，當年與惠媽合作演出電影Waiting to Exhale (1995)的演員同事們 Loretta Devine,Lela Rochon,Angela Bassett等人，則接續發言來緬懷惠媽，整段致敬演出最後由Chaka Khan登台演唱"I'm Every Woman"而劃下完美句點。

"This is for you, Nip", said Cissy Houston before singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in honor of her daughter Whitney Houston on Sunday's BET Awards. The moving tribute featured Monica, who sang "I Love the Lord" and Brandy, who performed "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody”.
