Whitney Houston : sa première télé française depuis 1998
La rumeur se propageait depuis hier sur le net, elle est aujourd'hui confirmée par Canal+ : Whitney Houston interprétera le 6 octobre prochain son nouveau titre "Million Dollar Bill" sur le plateau du Grand Journal en direct.
Absente des plateaux de télévision français depuis un passage dans Les années tubes de Jean-Pierre Foucault en 1998, Whitney Houston a choisi d'initier sa promotion mondiale pour l'album "I look to you" dans l'émission de Michel Denisot le 6 octobre prochain.
Boostées après ses apparitions à Good Morning America et chez Oprah Winfrey, les ventes de son album "I look to you" ont atteint presque 550,000 exemplaires aux Etats-Unis. Le même effet se fera-t-il sentir en France après ce passage ?
Dans le même temps, l'organisateur de tournées A&E a confié être en négociations avec la chanteuse pour une tournée mondiale. La dernière représentation de la chanteuse en France date de 1999, à l'époque de l'album "My love is your love". Le choix de l'Hexagone pour sa première apparition européenne depuis la sortie de l'album ravira donc les fans qui espèrent que Paris ne sera pas oublié en cas de tournée.

Whitney Houston tries her best to stay as "normal" as possible.
The Queen of The Night hitmaker says doing household chores while rebuilding her career will keep her feet on the ground.
"I am not new to this game; I am just true to this game," she said. "I have been in this industry for 30 years and the best thing for me is to stay normal."
"I am still doing regular things. I still get up in the morning and feed my dogs, take them outside, come back, holler at my kids to clean their rooms, take the garbage out for the trash man."
"It is different now. I am different now. We all go through situations, have our ups and downs but in the face of adversity, if you keep your faith you can triumph."
