Whitney Houston's Headstone References Career-Defining Song

Whitney Houston's grave in New Jersey has been marked with a teardrop-shaped headstone - with an inscription well known to her fans: "I will always love you."
The 48-year-old pop music queen died Feb. 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, Calif. An autopsy found she had drowned accidentally, with heart disease and cocaine use contributing to her death.

She was buried next to her father in Westfield, N.J., about 20 miles west of New York.

Her headstone includes a heart-shaped engraving upon which her image and the words "THE VOICE" are etched in capital letters.

Just below is the inscription "I will always love you," from the Dolly Parton song Houston made famous. Houston's recording of the song was played at her funeral.
