Happy 17th Anniversary to The Preacher's Wife Movie! 轉眼間，咱家惠媽 Whitney Houston 所主演的" 惠妮休斯頓之天使保鑣The Preacher's Wife "，發行上映已經滿17周年了！ 此片是惠妮掛頭牌主演的第三部電影作品，搭配當年聲勢正夯的男星丹佐華盛頓 Denzel Washington 擔任男主角，潘妮馬歇爾 Penny Marshall 擔任此片導演，電影由 Touchstone Pictures 發行。 從小接觸福音音樂的惠媽，在片中飾演牧師娘 Julia Biggs ，除了平常是丈夫 Reverend Henry Biggs (由男星 Courtney B. Vance 飾演)所任職的教堂的唱詩班領唱外，還得為了老公的牛脾氣及越來越不關心她，搞得焦頭爛額。 在教堂老舊失修，產權糾紛等一連串挫折所困擾的牧師Henry，向上帝發出求救訊號，期盼老天爺助他一臂之力，度過重重難關，此時老天爺派下天使 Dudley (由Denzel Washington飾演)，下凡來相助。一切神奇的變化，就此展開......

惠妮蠟像在紐約展出囉 ！ We here at WhitneyHouston.com don't get out very often (it's true, we are kinda nerds like that!) but when we do its big. And this week, we had the amazing opportunity to attend the unveiling ceremony of Whitney's four wax figures at Madame Tussauds in NYC. The unveiling marks the first time in 200 years that the museum has created 4 different figures of the same person. All we can say is Madame Tussauds did an EXCEPTIONAL job depicting different points in her 30+ career. 

第44屆NACCP image Awards,惠媽贏得2項大獎喔！ It's girl domination at the 44th annual NAACP Image Awards Friday night, February 1 at the Shrine  Auditorium  in Los Angeles.  Whitney Houston  and  Alicia Keys  scored double victory each in music categories along with another female act  Mary Mary .
